Panels and Pollinators

Did you see us featured in the Autumn/Winter 2025 edition of The RSPB Magazine? The inspiring article features Senior Business Conservation and Ecology Adviser, Paul Wilkinson’s visit to Yelvertoft Solar Farm, where he saw Goldfinches feeding from the abundant thistle patches, Swallows overhead and a Buzzard soaring through the blue skies. He heard the rasping cronk of a Raven and saw Common Blue and Clouded Yellow butterflies feeding on the plentiful wildflowers. He was particularly impressed with the swales, where native pondweeds are appearing, providing the right conditions for several dragonflies and damselflies to lay their eggs.
